Up-To-Date on CPR?

There are a number of truly life-threatening situations where we as “lay people” (non-doctors) can save the day with quick action – choking, drowning, hypothermia, severe cuts, stroke and cardiac arrest, for example.

If it has been a while since you took a CPR or First Aid class, consider taking a refresher.  Many of the guidelines have changed in recent years regarding what kind of care to provide in an emergency situation.  Hopefully these are skills you will never be called on to use, but should the need arise, you will want to be confident and competent in aiding the person experiencing the emergency.
